On June 27, 2023, the opening ceremony of The 9th International Graduate Summer School and ZIERIP was grandly held in Qizhen Hotel, Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University.Manager Xu Bilin of Ant Group's School-Enterprise Cooperation Department; Campus Recruitment Manager Gan Xiaoxia of Geely Group; Head of School-Enterprise Cooperation, Pan Junwei, of Hundsun Technologies Inc.; President Wei Songxiang of Hangzhou Tengzhan Technology Inc.; Vice DirectorNi Jiani of Graduate School of Zhejiang University; Vice Dean of International Education Sun Fangjiao; Secretary Peng Liping, Party Committee of the Computer College and the Software College; Vice Deanof Software College Gao yunjun, and other leaders and guests attended the opening ceremony. The meeting was presided over by Gao yunjun, Vice Dean of the Software College. International students from Stanford University, UC Berkeley and other top universitiesin the world, representatives of cooperative enterprise, some teachers of Software College and outstanding volunteer representatives of Zhejiang University participated in the opening ceremony.

The Opening Ceremony of the ZIERIP

     Vice Director Ni Jiani first delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of Zhejiang University. She welcomed international students from Stanford University, UC Berkeley and other top universities in the world to study and exchange at Zhejiang University! Director Ni introduced the long history and running situation of Zhejiang University. In order to cultivate innovative talents with global vision and social responsibility, the Graduate School has set up a summer special fund this year. It supports each college to send postgraduates to world-class universities, research institutions, or international organizations for exchanges. Additionally, it provides support to colleges, including the Software College, to hold the International Summer School for Postgraduates of Zhejiang University. She hoped that the Software College and Ant Group would work together to carefully organize every part of the program and try to make the program a platform for outstanding graduate students from high-level universities in the world to have academic discussions and cultural exchanges with famous professors at home and abroad.

     On behalf of Ant Group, Manager Xu Bilin welcomed all the international students to study in Zhejiang University and intern in Ant Group. In her speech, she introduced Ant Group and its mission. She pointed out that Ant Group attaches great importance to the cooperation with Zhejiang University, and is very grateful to the leaders, professors and volunteers of Zhejiang University for their hard work in this program. She was confident that the international students who participated in this program would have wonderful memories of their time in Hangzhou.

     Finally, on behalf of the College of Software Technology, Vice Dean Gao Yunjun introduced the running situation of the Software College and the specific content of the ZIERIP. He pointed out that the success of this program is a major breakthrough in the internationalization of the College of Software Technology after the epidemic, and thanked Ant Group, the Graduate School, and the College of International Education for their strong support for this program, and strive to build this program into a demonstration platformfor the International Education-Research-Industry Program with characteristics of Zhejiang University.

     We believe that under the elaborate organization of the Software College and the Ant Group and other cooperative enterprises, the overseas students will definitely experience the enthusiasm of people from Zhejiang University, the feelings of people from Zhejiang University, and the true scientific research level of Zhejiang University. The success of this international cooperation program in Software College provides a platform for students of different cultures and backgrounds to exchange and learn, and further expands the international reputation and influence of Zhejiang University.
